It provides a stable surface that grips the pad during operation and allows the machine to transfer power evenly for scrubbing, stripping, polishing, or finishing. Malish pad drivers are engineered with polymeric hook faces that penetrate and hold the pad securely while you work.

A: Yes. The terms “pad driver” and “pad holder” are often used interchangeably in commercial floor care. Both refer to an accessory that attaches to a rotary floor machine and secures a floor pad for scrubbing, stripping, polishing, or burnishing.

A: Sure-Lok requires clutch plates or mounting systems designed for a 5-inch center hole configuration. Always verify that your machine’s clutch plate matches this specification before ordering.

A: Polymeric pad drivers, such as Sure-Lok®, require a clutch plate or mounting system designed for a 5-inch center hole configuration.
Common 5-inch compatible clutch plates include:
NP-9200, NP-47, NP-46, G-400X, G-400S, G-200MM, ANP-92, NP-83P, 4148PMB, ANP-16, ANP-154, NP-500, and ANP-200.
If your machine uses a non-5-inch mounting system, a tufted pad driver like Pad-Lok™ should be selected instead.

A: A high-speed riser is recommended when operating pad drivers on dual-speed or higher RPM floor machines. It provides proper spacing and helps minimize vibration during high-speed polishing or burnishing applications.

A: Yes. Sure-Lok® is engineered for use on dual-speed and high-speed (300 rpm) floor machines and should be paired with the Malish High Speed Riser when operating at higher RPMs to ensure smooth performance and reduced vibration. Sure-Lok® combines our Mighty-Lok® molded polymer pad gripping material with a foam cushion to absorb vibration.
