June 2008 – The Malish Corporation, a global leader in the design and manufacture of floor machine and surface cleaning brushes and accessories since 1948, announces the appointment of Fred Lombardi as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
A graduate of The University of Denver in Denver, Colorado, Mr. Lombardi holds a degree in Business Management. Mr. Lombardi began his career in the cleaning and maintenance industry in 1980. He has extensive experience in plant management, territory sales, and national sales management, as well as sales training, marketing and trend analysis. He is trained in the Sandler and Dale Carnegie systems.
In his new position, Mr. Lombardi will continue to oversee the sales and marketing of the company’s world renowned rotary brushes and accessories as well as general maintenance brushes. Mr. Lombardi will lead the sales team as it promotes Malish products through OEM and distributor channels.
Prior to joining The Malish Corporation, Mr. Lombardi served as Division Sales Manager and Vice President of Sales for twelve years at Specialty Chemical Resources/Hi Port Aerosol. Most recently, Mr. Lombardi was Vice President of Sales of Zenex International for six years.

Mr. Lombardi is married and has three children. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting and fishing, playing and coaching hockey, and golf.
