Pad-Lok™ is Malish’s best-selling tufted pad driver, engineered for universal compatibility across a wide range of clutch plates and mounting systems. Heavy polypropylene strands, trimmed irregularly at 3/4″, are staple set into our durable TUFF-BLOCK® Showerfeed construction. This allows the tufts to penetrate into the floor pad or bristled floor pad for secure holding power during operation.
Pad-Lok™ is compatible with both 5-inch center hole configurations and traditional lug or gimbal-style mounting systems, making it the most versatile choice to fit a variety of mounting options.
Key Features:
Heavy polypropylene 3/4″ tufted strands for strong pad retention
Durable TUFF-BLOCK® construction
Showerfeed holes for solution dispensing machines
Universal mounting compatibility
Standard 5″ center hole with configurable options for non-5″ mounting systems
• Includes 1-1/4″ plastic riser (also available without riser)
Safety Information:
Warning: Do not use brush or pad with flammable materials (fuels, solvents, thinners, etc.) as serious bodily harm or injury could result from possible fire or explosion.
A: A pad driver is a floor machine accessory that attaches to and is used with single-disc machines, auto scrubbers, and walk-behinds to securely hold floor pads, bonnets, or Flex Scrubs® bristled pads. It stabilizes the pad or Flex Scrub® during operation, ensuring even power transfer for scrubbing, stripping, and polishing. The Malish Pad-Lok™ pad driver features heavy polypropylene tufted strands that firmly grip and secure pads while you work.
A: Yes. The terms “pad driver” and “pad holder” are often used interchangeably in commercial floor care. Both refer to an accessory that attaches to a rotary floor machine and secures a floor pad for scrubbing, stripping, polishing, or burnishing.
A: Select a pad driver that is 1 inch smaller than your floor machine’s stated size. For example, a 20” single-disc machine typically requires a 19” pad driver. Always confirm your machine manufacturer’s recommended pad driver size before ordering.
A: The Pad-Lok™ pad driver is compatible with virtually any standard clutch plate or mounting system. It features heavy-duty tufted strands for secure pad retention and is not limited to 5-inch center hole configurations. This makes it a versatile option for most floor machines.
If you’re unsure which clutch plate or mounting system your machine uses, contact our team with your machine make and model, and we’ll help confirm compatibility before you place your order.
A: Pad-Lok™ is designed to work with virtually all standard clutch plates and mounting systems.
Unlike polymeric pad drivers (Mighty-Lok® and Sure-Lok®), which require a 5-inch center hole mounting system, Pad-Lok™ can be configured to fit a wide range of clutch plates and machine styles.
If your machine uses clutch plates such as L-800 and L-801 lugs, G-100 gimbal, P-200, NP-800, NP-600, NP-1850, or ANP-140, or if you are unsure which mounting system your machine uses, Pad-Lok™ is the most versatile option.
A: The Pad-Lok™ pad driver includes a 1-1/4″ thick plastic riser.
The riser helps provide proper clearance between the machine housing and the floor pad, allowing for smooth operation and improved pad contact during scrubbing, stripping, or polishing.
